Prabowo to Visit 5 Countries in Middle East

IDXChannel - President Prabowo Subianto departed to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday (9/4/2025).

During this tour, Prabowo is scheduled to visit UAE, Turkiye, Egypt, Qatar, and Jordan. 

In Abu Dhabi, Prabowo is scheduled to meet with UAE PresidentnMohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. 

"First, I will go to Abu Dhabi to meet with the President of the United Arab Emirates," Prabowo said at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta before his departure.

From Abu Dhabi, the President will continue his journey to Turkiye. He will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and attend the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

Prabowo will then head to Cairo to meet with Egyptian President Abdul Fattah El-Sisi.  Afterwards, Prabowo is planned to go to Qatar to meet with the Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani. 

"I will fly to Doha, Qatar to carry out a state visit and to finalize agreements between Qatar and Indonesia, also to sign various agreements that are quite strategic for both of our countries," he said. 

Prabowo will end his tour by visiting Jordan to conduct a state visit. 

"From there (Qatar), I will go to Jordan, to hold a state visit and meet with King Abdullah II," he said. (Wahyu Dwi Anggoro)
